Our Hearts Are Full

What a beautiful day it was...the Saturday we ALL went strawberry picking. I was sure it would be too hot and no strawberries cause they were already picked.
As we sat on our deck baking in the hot sun at 8 am I was apprehensive. By 9:15 we were at The Farm...the place of magic and memories. The sky was blue just like one of my favorite crayons...not a cloud anywhere. It felt unending and I had a feel for why they call Montana, Big Sky. The breeze blew through our hair.
The fields were full of strawberries. The picking was easy. The kids enjoyed it. My Ray of Sunshine said he was going to find the perfect, sweet strawberry and I am sure he did.  I found an alien strawberry and was excited to give it to him, but alas it was not perfect and he did not want it. However, my Wild Blonde Boy was tickled to have it put in his basket. Jumpin J picked too and filled her basket with the help of her Gampa. Our biggest little baby had strawberry juice dripping off his chin and our middle Rose had the basket with the mostest in it.
After we were done we went in to pay and bought apple cidar donuts and all the kids had sugar lips.  Love those kisses. They ran around in the field and had races. Our middle Rose was very kind and waited for her cousin. She runs like a gazelle or is that giselle?
We went home and had lunch on the front lawn under the maple trees. The kids slip and slid all afternoon. Jumpin J was purple, but she kept going back for more.
Handsome said he is so thankful for The Farm and all of the wonderful memories it has created for our family.

Strawberries mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Love the wind in the hair!

An overflowing basket of lusciousness.

Sugar lips one...

Sugar lips 2.

The most perfect, sweetest berry ever.
And a wonderful day was had by all.
Thank you to the One who made the day.
